APPLETREE PARK

Burlington

This neighborhood park has three tennis courts, two basketball courts, playground and a youth ball field. It is located in the North end of Burlington.

CALAHAN PARK
Burlington

Calahan is situated on a hillside, and is a regional hub for soccer and baseball leagues. It also includes a community garden, pickleball, a basketball court, tennis court and playground.

DEWEY PARK
Burlington

This small, community park is located between Spring, Archibald and Walnut Streets, and hosts the ONE Farmer’s Market in the summer season.

LEDDY PARK
Burlington

This large regional park contains multiple athletic fields, an indoor ice facility and vast expanse of natural woodland. The park can also be accessed by the Burlington Bike Path.

PERKINS & ROUNDHOUSE PARKS
Burlington

Located near Perkins Pier right along the Burlington Greenway Bike Path, this waterfront park offers quiet benches overlooking Lake Champlain.

SCHIFILLITI PARK
Burlington

This small park functions as a Little League hub and is situated between athletic facilities at Hunt Middle School & CP Smith Elementary School.

SCHMANSKA PARK
Burlington

This small park on Grove Street includes a ballfied, basketball court, pickleball, playground, softball field and tennis court.

STARR FARM PARK
Burlington

This regional park features athletic fields and a large dog park, and is bisected by the Burlington Bike Path. It also includes a playground and community garden.

BAIRD PARK
Burlington

This small neighborhood park includes a basketball court, community garden and playground. It is located in the South end.

CHAMPLAIN STREET PARK
Burlington

This small urban park features a playground and community garden.

ETHAN ALLEN PARK
Burlington

This regional park features a playground, acres of natural woodland and the city’s highest point topped by a 40’ stone tower. The 127 Bike Path can be accessed from this park, which includes 4 miles of trails.

LITTLE PARK
Burlington

This mini park provides a shady, grassy area and a bench.

POMEROY PARK
Burlington

This small, neighborhood park is popular for its pickup basketball. It also features a small playground.

POTVIN PARK
Burlington

This mini park offers a quiet seating area between St. Paul Street and South Winooski Ave.

WATERFRONT PARK
Burlington

This popular, large regional park is located along the Lake Champlain Shoreline, and is home to several large music and food festivals, with the Burlington Bike Path running along its eastern border.

BATTERY PARK

Burlington

This historic park is located on the western edge of downtown near the Burlington police department. It includes a bandshell, which is host to seasonal concert series, and a small playground overlooking Lake Champlain.

CITY HALL PARK
Burlington

This urban park is located downtown, and is immediately adjacent to the Church St. Marketplace. It is also home to the Burlington Farmer’s Market in the summer season.

LAKESIDE PARK
Burlington

This small neighborhood park occupies 2/3 of a city block surrounded by Central Ave., Conger Ave., and is along the Burlington Bike Path. It includes a basketball court and playground.

OAKLEDGE PARK
Burlington

This large, regional park, is located along Lake Champlain and is immensely popular for passive recreation. Visitors can access the water by both rocky or sandy beaches, and the park is bisected by the Burlington Bike Path. A wide variety of amenities are available.

ROOSEVELT PARK
Burlington

This neighborhood park is home to organized baseball and soccer leagues, as well as the Burlington Boys & Girls Club’s Academic Teen Center. The nearby ‘Little Rosie’ contains a children’s playground.

SMALLEY PARK
Burlington

This neighborhood park is home to the city’s only natural playground, in addition to active recreation facilities. It includes a ballfield and basketball court.

WATER WORKS PARK
Burlington

This is the newest park along the Burlington waterfront. The park includes a wooden boardwalk, walking paths and benches. There is a grassy area that is perfect for a picnic. It is located at 235 Penny Lane. Parking is limited. 

 

MOUNT PHILO
STATE PARK

Charlotte

This 237-acre park offers breathtaking views of the Lake Champlain Valley and New York’s Adirondack Mountains. The park is a favorite of hikers and picnickers, and includes a small campground.

HULLCREST PARK

Shelburne

This 4.1-acre park features a playground, basketball court, ice skating rink, trails leading to a brook, and open field space. It is located on Pinehurst Drive in the Hullcrest Development.

DAVIS PARK
Shelburne

This park includes lighted tennis and basketball courts, picnic tables, restrooms, and a natural playground. It is located off Harbor Road.

LAPLATTE NATURE PARK
Shelburne

This 145-acre town-owned open space provides ample opportunity for recreation. The trails meander through a field and woods, and alongside the LaPlatte River. Trails may be used for walking, running, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing. In the meadow near the post office, a hill serves as a popular sledding spot in the winter.

SHELBURNE BAY PARK
Burlington

This 104-acre park provides recreational opportuniies for walking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, and includes picnic areas. The Recreation Path connects with the Ti-Haul Trail, which is just over a mile long and connects to Harbor Road.

 

AIRPORT PARK

Colchester

This park is located off the Island Line Trail Bike Path. The park includes a 1.3 mile jogging trail, outdoor ice skating rinks in the winter, volleyball and tennis courts, soccer and ball fields, horseshoe pits, a playground and a pavilion.

BONANZA PARK

Colchester

The small neighborhood park includes an all-purpose field and playground.

HERITAGE PARK
Colchester

This 1-acre park provides a great playing area for families. It includes a playground, basketball and tennis court.

VALLEYFIELD PARK
Colchester

This small park located off Valleyfield Drive, includes an all-purpose field and a playground.

BAYSIDE PARK
Colchester

This 22-Acre park overlooks the Malletts Bay area of Lake Champlain, and includes beach access. Park facilities include volleyball, shuffleboard, tennis and basketball courts. There is a beachside bathhouse, restrooms, pavilion, and softball field.

CAUSEWAY PARK
Colchester

This park is a 4-mile long, 10 foot wide gravel path extending across Lake Champlain that is great for walking, biking, and fishing.

PORTERS NATURAL AREA
Colchester

This park, located off Mills Point Road, offers 56-acres of the beautiful outdoors.

BILLADO PARK
Colchester

Located off of Heineberg Drive, along the Winooski River, this park is great for fishing. With 4 Acres of natural area, there are walking trails and a boat ramp.

FORT ETHAN ALLEN PARK
Colchester

This 19-acre multi-purpose park includes 2 soccer fields, a tennis court, and ample open space for cricket or rugby. There is also a gazebo, trails and a playground.

SUNNY HOLLOW NATURAL AREA
Colchester

This park provides 80-acres of diverse land area. There are walking and/or cross-country ski trails and a 3-mile mountain biking trail.

 

FOSTER ROAD PARK

Essex

This 15-acre park features four little league fields, two soccer fields, one football/soccer field, one 400-meter track, one lit adult softball field, restrooms and storage facility.

PEARL STREET PARK

Essex

This 14-acre neighborhood park features two tennis courts, a playground, a basketball court, a ballfield, and walking trails.

SAXONHOLLOW PARK
Essex

This wooded 1-acre park includes a half basketball court, playground, and swings.

STEVENS PARK
Essex Junction

This 8-acre park off South Street includes nature trails and a large open area.

INDIAN BROOK PARK
Essex

This 575-acre community park features a 60-acre reservoir, trails, a non-motorized boat launch, picnic areas and parking. It is available only to Essex residents with a pass.

PINEWOOD PARK
Essex

This park is a 4-mile long, 10 foot wide gravel path extending across Lake Champlain that is great for walking, biking, and fishing.

CASCADE PARK
Essex Junction

This 10-acre park is located off Cascade Street, and includes tennis and basketball courts, a baseball field and playground.

MYERS PARK
Essex

This 1-acre park includes a multi-use playing field, basketball court, and playground.

SAND HILL PARK
Essex

This 9-acre neighborhood park features two tennis courts, a playground with new equipment, a picnic shelter, and two pools.

MAPLE STREET
PARK & POOL

Essex Junction

This large 38-acre park includes 2 swimming pools, tennis and basketball courts, baseball fields, a bike and skate park, playground and GaGa Ball Pit. There are also 4 pavilions and concession stands, as well as nature trails for exploring.

 

LYMANS MEADOW PARK

Hinesburg

Located in the heart of the village behind Lantman’s Market, this park includes playing fields.

CAMEL'S HUMP STATE PARK

Huntington

This undeveloped, free entry state park, inclues 1000-acres of land for hiking and camping, withmany beautiful viewing spots to the summit of Camel’s Hump.

WAINER PARK
Hinesburg

Located behind Hinesburg Community School, this park includes playing fields, basketball and tennis courts, a children jungle gym/slides, picnic facilities and a pavilion.

GEPRAG PARK
Hinesburg

Located on Shelburne Falls Road, this park features acres of hilly meadows with trails for walking, birding, and cross-country skiing.

 

MILLS RIVERSIDE PARK

Jericho

This large 216-acre park includes bth open meadow and wooded hillside, with a beautiful view of Mt. Mansfield. There are over six miles of trail available for non-motorized, recreational opportunities year-round. There is also a pavilion available for reservation.

MOORE PARK
Underhill

This park is located off Pleasant Valley Road, and is a popular place for events.

OLD MILL PARK
Jericho

Behind the Old Red Mill in Jericho, you’ll find a parking lot and trails along a historic riverscape with waterfalls and pools.

UNDERHILL STATE PARK

Underhill

Underhill is within Vermont’s 39,837-acre Mt. Mansfield State Forest. There are four trails to the summit ridge of Mt. Mansfield from Underhill State Park. It is open for both day use and camping.

 

JAYCEE PARK
South Burlington

This 6.9-acre park includes a lighted baseball/softball field, 2 basketball courts, a small pavilion with picnic area, and a playground.

SZYMANSKI PARK
South Burlington

This 20-acre park includes 2 lighted tennis courts with Pickle Ball lines, a basketball court, open field space, a picnic area, access to pedestrial trails and a playground.

FARRELL PARK

South Burlington

This 22-acre park includes open field space, 2 baseball fields, a picnic area, pedestrian trails, and a playground.

OVERLOOK PARK

South Burlington

This 1.7-acre park located off Spear Street, and is known for its scenic views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains. It’s a great spot to watch the sunset or talk a walk along the surrounding path.

VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK
South Burlington

This 70-acre city park provides year-round recreational activities. Open space allows for temporary fields for lacrosse, soccer, and a variety of other activities. The Dorset Athletic Fields at the park are permitted fields and provide open space for organized groups. It also includes a band shell, pavilion, picnic area, playground, and bathrooms.

RED ROCKS PARK
South Burlington

This 100-acre park includes 700 feet of Waterfront with a designated swimming area. There is 2.5 miles of pedestrian trails with scenic overlooks, access to a recreational path, a picnic area with small gazebo, and restrooms.

WHEELER NATURE PARK
South Burlington

This 140-acre park is undevelope, but provides pedestrial trails for hiking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.

 

ALLEN BROOK COMMUNITY PARK
Williston

The park has 2 full size multi-use fields and a recreational path that connects Coyote Lane to Talcott Road.

WILLISTON COMMUNITY PARK
Williston

This park offers separate playground structures for young and older kids, 4 sand volleyball courts, a full size soccer field, a softball field, a Little League field, a Babe Ruth field, and space for multi-purpose fields. A skate park and a skating rink is available in the winter. There is also a 12-hole disc golf course, and the Village Bike Path runs through the park.

BRENNAN PARK

Williston

Located off of Mountain View Road on Brennan Woods Drive, this park has three little league baseball/T-ball fields, a playground and climbing structure.

ROTARY PARK
Winooski

This park is located off Main Street in Winooski, and is home to Winooski Wednesdays, a free summer concert series.

ROSSIGNOL PARK
Williston

This park is a sheltered area, great for families. It includes tennis courts, a basketball court, Little League field, small picnic shelter and a playground. No facilities are rented out.

LANDRY PARK
Winooski

This park includes an open green, a lit softball field, tennis courts, basketball court, and a playground. In the winter, it offers an outdoor ice skating rink, and a nice sledding hill.
